On January 16, 2023, the National Bank of Poland is launching a silver coin with a face value of PLN 20 and a gold coin with a face value of PLN 200, "160th Anniversary of the January Uprising."
The reverse of the gold coin, in the central part, shows a panoply with elements of armament and banners, as well as the insurgent's tripartite coat of arms with the crowned White Eagle, the Lithuanian Pahonia and Michael the Archangel symbolizing Rus. The depicted image is a fragment of a banner from the January Uprising period (image from the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw).
On the obverse of the silver coin are reproduced: a stylized banner and weapons (scythe, saber, rifle) from the January Uprising period.
