This coin was struck from 2 ounces of fine silver and is dedicated to Albrecht Dürer. It is decorated with a wonderful reproduction of his most famous painting "Portrait of a Young Venetian Woman". Albrecht Dürer was born in Nuremberg. He became a painter and graphic artist. He was a representative of the Renaissance. Many believe that the biggest influence on his works were his journeys to Italy. They probably shaped his artistic attitude.
