First coin from the "Dragon King of the Four Seas" series. Ao Shun (敖順) is the Dragon King of the North Sea, also known as the Black Dragon. Dragon Kings were worshiped to invoke and seek for a smooth and peaceful life.  Ao Shun as pictured on the coin, is rising magnificently from the sea towards the sky and the North. The ultra-high relief gives it an exceptional 3D effect. The highlight of this piece is a translucent black enamel applied to the water - giving the powerful Ao Shun a life-like finish. The use of a new minting technique called “Bi-Metal Reverse” results in an exceptional weight and 80 mm diameter size. 2 oz of silver as a base with a top layer of 11.5 oz of copper impresses with every detail in a maximum effect. Finished with antiqued silver. Limited mintage of 500 pieces.
