The Noah's Ark silver coin is a popular investment product, minted by Leipziger Edelmetall Verarbeitung on direct order of the Central Bank of Armenia.This investment product is made of pure Ag.999 silver, weighing 1 oz. In addition, silver "Noah's Ark" coins are guaranteed by the government of the Republic of Armenia as to their legality, purity and origin of the metal, and are a legal tender in this country. The obverseof the coin shows the coat of arms of Armenia with the minted denomination of 500 drams and the year of issue. On the right side, under the coat of arms, there is the weight and fineness of silver in which the coin was minted.At the bottom edge there is an inscription "Republic of Armenia". The reverseof the coin, designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, shows the ark on a stormy sea, with Mount Ararat in the background and the rising sun in the background.
