Another interesting offer from the Mint of Poland.  It was struck from 2 ounces of pure silver. It depicts Beelzebub, who is identified with Lucifer. Thanks to the high relief, it seems that the devil is coming out of the coin. To emphasise its infernal character, the fire was coloured and the horns were plated with copper. The coin, together with the certificate of authenticity, is packed in an elegant display case. The mintage was limited to 500 pieces only.  Beelzebub is the name of a demon, leader of demons. It appears in the Gospel of Luke. Beelzebub has become a synonym for the devil. He is considered in occultism and in Christian demonology as the guardian of the gates of hell. He is depicted as a demon (in this form he has many images) or a fly.
