The second coin from the "The Four Auspicious Beasts" series. These characters are considered to be the Chinese guardians of the 4 world directions. They belong to them: Azure Dragon of the East, Vermillion Bird of the South, White Tiger of the West and Black Turtle of the North. Each beast has its own individual characteristics, spiritual and religious beliefs. The White Tiger of the West and Autumn is considered by the Chinese as a symbol of strength and army. It is seen as a defender, not only against deadly enemies, but also against evil spirits.  This 2 oz coin is struck from fine silver and will be adorned with a high relief and selective gilding. The coin, in addition to silver, also consists of over 11 ounces of copper. The obverse of the circle contains an ancient Chinese constellation surrounding a yin-yang octagon.
