The second coin from the new series "Mythical Creatures". This coin will enrich the collection of any mythology fan. It was struck from 2 ounces of pure silver and is decorated with digital printing. It is delivered in a display case. Cerberus is a creature from Greek mythology, a giant three-headed dog guarding the entrance to the world of the dead. He was believed to be the brother of the Sphinx, Hydra and Chimera. He lived near the Styx, because souls transported after death by Charon came across him; trying to leave Hades, Cerberus bit with his venomous teeth. He also did not allow the living into Hades, but Orpheus appeased him by singing and playing the lyre. Taming him and bringing him to earth was the last of Heracles' twelve labours.
