Another coin from the "Masters of Art" series. Claude Monet was one of the founders of French Impressionist painting. He adopted the movement's philosophy of expressing his ideas about nature, especially in landscape painting. The art master was particularly fond of the water lilies growing in the pond of his garden in Giverny. At the aforementioned French estate, Monet composed several series of water lilies, resulting in more or less 250 individual paintings by the end of his life. O This silver coin features an engraving showing even the smallest details and facial features.
