The second coin in the series "Space the Final Frontier". After the Universe, the time has come for the Milky Way. The coin was struck from 3 ounces of pure silver. A special "black proof" stamp created the perfect base for the colourful image of the Milky Way. The high relief additionally brings the view of the galaxy to life. Limited edition - only 333 pieces worldwide.  The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy which contains, among others, the Solar System. It contains, according to various sources, between 100 and 400 billion stars. In the sky it is seen as a bright streak wrapping around the sky. The Milky Way belt reaches the constellation Cassiopeia in the north and the constellation Southern Cross in the south.  The Milky Way moves through space towards the Local Supergiant. The Milky Way is attracted by the Great Attractor, a huge cluster of galaxies grouped into clusters and superclusters.
