This coin opens a new series, which is called "Goddesses of Health". Hygieia was the Greek goddess of health, purity and hygiene. She was considered the daughter of the god Asklepios and Epione. She was worshipped together with Asklepios and belonged to his procession. Her Roman counterpart was Salus. In the play she is usually depicted as a young woman with attributes - a cup and a snake, which symbolizes constant renewal of life and longevity.  The snake is now a symbol of medicine. From Hygieia comes the name of a field of medicine with an environmental impact on human health - hygiene.  The coin was struck from pure silver. The digital printing technique perfectly illustrates the goddess, emphasizing even the smallest details of this unique coin.
