First coin of the new series "Amazing Animals". The coin was struck from 3 ounces of pure silver. The reverse features a colourful image of a chameleon, with its tongue pointing towards an insect resting on a leaf. Thanks to the use of holographic enamel, the depicted chameleon successfully reproduces the changing hues that are characteristic of this animal in real life. The print run is limited - only 421 pieces! The chameleon is a reptile that is famous for its ability to change colouration, its long tongue and its original body shapes. It has a grasping tail and fingers curled into a kind of pincers, with which it holds onto branches. Most species are found in Africa and Madagascar.
