Kookaburra is a famous bouillon coin minted by the oldest Australian mint, Perth Mint. 2020 is the thirtieth edition of this coin series! This time the silver coin stands out from the previous editions, because in this version the famous bird is decorated not only with the reverse, but also with the obverse of the coin, on which the image of the bird from 1990 was symbolically applied. The coin was struck with 9999 highest quality silver and its mintage is limited to 500 000 pieces. Kookaburra has been produced since 1990. The first version was struck in 1 ounce, but then appeared in four different weights: 1 kg, 10 ounces, 2 ounces and 1 ounce. In 2010, the 2 ounce version was abandoned. In comparison to other Kookaburra bouillon coins, it is distinguished by the fact that its image changes every year.
