Another coin from the "Windows of Heaven" series, which features colourful stained glass windows from famous churches and cathedrals around the world. This coin shows the Church of St Catherine in Bethlehem. In the left side aisle of the church there is an entrance to the grottos, including the Grotto of the Nativity. From St Catherine's Church, a number of world stations broadcast the Midnight Mass each year, presided over by the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. The reverse shows the exterior of the magnificent church. On the left a section of the interior of the cathedral is shown, showing a beautifully designed stained glass window.
