Silver coin struck from 3 ounces, the reverse of which depicts St Lawrence Church in Macau.
St Lawrence Church is one of the three oldest churches in Macau (one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China) administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Macau. St Lawrence protects people and points them in the right direction.
The reverse of the coin shows the altar inside the church. The high relief is combined with mini stained glass windows to combine the central plane and three-dimensionality of the main hall of the church. The floor tiles are enclosed in the combined geometry of a circle and a regular heptagon. The obverse shows the architectural shape of the church of St Lawrence.
