Krugerrand is one of the most popular bouillon coin in the world. It is minted by the renowned South African mint Rand Rafinery. They are a full legal tender in South Africa and are guaranteed by the South African government. Interestingly, despite their legality as to the means of payment, they do not have a denomination. This means that the South African Reserve Bank is obliged to buy back the coins at the prevailing price of gold. The Krugerrand silver version was first introduced to the numismatic market in 2017. Earlier versions were only gold. These coins are excellent when it comes to investing their capital. Due to their popularity, they are very liquid, both in the case of a desire to buy and sell. The reverse of the coin invariably decorates the springbok antelope, which is the symbol of South Africa.
