2024 silver Krugerrands are minted by the South African Rand Refinery mint from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing one ounce and measuring 38.7 mm in diameter. Each coin in the series is a legal means of payment, guaranteed by the South African government as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal. Interestingly, although Krugerrands are legal tender, they have no face value. This means that the South African Reserve Bank is obliged to buy back the coins at the prevailing bullion price. Krugerrand investment coins are a perfect investment for any capital. Due to their liquidity, both when wanting to buy and sell, they are recommended to all investors. The obverse is decorated with a portrait of the president, Paul Kruger, above it are the words "SUID-AFRIKA" AND "SOUTH AFRICA". The reverse shows a springbok antelope, which is the symbol of South Africa. On both sides there are numbers representing the year of issue, below it there is the inscription "Fynsilwer 1oz fine silver r1", indicating the pure silver content.
