The Krugerrand is one of the most recognizable coins in the world. The collector's item from 2024 was made of silver weighing one troy ounce and Ag.999 purity. The whole thing is emphasized by the quality of minting - proof (mirror stamp) and a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. Silver Krugerrands are minted by the South African Rand Refinery mint. They are a legitimate means of payment, guaranteed by the South African government as to the legality, purity of the metal and the origin of the metal. Interestingly, although Krugerrands are legal tender, they have no monetary value. This means that the South African Reserve Bank is obliged to buy back the coins at the prevailing bullion price. The obverse of the item is decorated with a portrait of Paul Kruger and the inscription "South Africa" ​​in Afrikaans and English. The reverse of the coin depicts a springbok antelope, which is the symbol of South Africa. On both sides there are numbers representing the year of issue, below it there is the inscription "Fynsilwer 1oz fine silver r1", indicating the pure silver content.
