Another extraordinary coin joins the  "Tiffany Art Metropolis" series. The series presents urban landscapes of the world's largest metropolises.  This time the coin presents the Notre Dame Cathedral. Of course, the design does not lack the famous Tiffany Art glass insert. Notre-Dame de Paris is the Gothic archcathedral in Paris. One of the most famous cathedrals in the world, thanks in part to the novel The Cathedral of the Virgin Mary in Paris by French writer Victor Hugo. Its name means Our Lady and refers to Mary, the Mother of God. It was built on an island in the Seine called Île de la Cité in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, on the site of two churches dating back to the 9th century. Its construction took over 180 years (1163-1345). From 10 August 1806, the relics of the crown of thorns were kept in the cathedral's treasury - under the care of the canons of the Chapter of the Metropolitan Basilica. The coin is packed together with a certificate of authenticity in a thematic box.
