First coin of the "Big City Lights" series. The Manhattan skyline is one of the most recognisable urban views in the world. In the foreground you can see the Brooklyn Bridge. It is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the world, 1834 m long (the main span located above the water is 486 m long), 26 m wide and 84 m high. It connects the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan, which are separated by the East River. At the time of its completion in 1883, it was one of the largest steel suspension bridges in the world. The Brooklyn Bridge is counted among the most famous structures in New York City; it is known, among other things, from many Hollywood films.
