Another coin joined the "Artist Breaking the Rules" series.  Gustav Klimt - an outstanding artist who created a new kind of beauty and revolutionized 20th century art. This portrait was an innovation in the artist's work - it was inspired by Japanese engraving and also created a vertical format. Emilia's clothes are decorated with many small details in golden colour, characteristic of Klimt's new style.
