The first coin in the new series "Legends of the Great Chinese Emperors". It opens with Qin Shi Huang.
He was the founder of the Qin dynasty and at the same time the first ruler of the Chinese Empire, who in 221 BC united the so-called "Fighting Kingdoms" on the territory of the then China.
He began his political career at the age of 13, ascending the throne of the Qin state. During the following years his army conquered six other states, ending the Fighting Kingdoms period. The reunification determined the fate of China, which to this day remains a single state, although its size matches that of the European continent and is very diverse in terms of language and ethnicity.
After the establishment of the empire, the ruler did much to unify China, including the unification of writing, measurements, weights and currency. He is, however, a controversial figure, as he maintained order over vast territory, using totalitarian methods of governance, including terror.
The coin is packed in a theme box with a certificate of authenticity. It is decorated with a high relief and selective gilding. Limited edition - only 500 pieces worldwide!
The coin's reverse shows an image of Qin Shi Huang holding his golden sword. There are many details on the coin, such as the Great Wall of China, which enriches the background. The obverse in turn shows a very original dragon.
