The first coin of the new series "Missing Treasures", struck by the Mint of Lithuania. The series will depict unique treasures known from myths and legends. The first of them, The Treasure of the Aztecs, depicts the story of an extinct civilization whose treasure was captured by pirates. The reverse of the coin depicts a pirate - a cunning kidnapper and treasure hunter. He is looking for the Aztec treasure he has captured: a wealth of gold products, coins and jewels. The border was created from motifs known from the Aztec calendar. The obverse features the coat of arms of the island of Niue.
