The mintage was limited to 500 pieces! Watatsumi is the ruler of the seas and oceans in Japanese mythology. He lived at the bottom of the sea, where he kept a miraculous pearl with which he could control the tides. Watatsumi often appears in human form, but his subjects are various sea creatures - turtles, snakes, dragons, fish and other sea creatures. Although he reigns supreme underwater, he has trouble keeping his subordinates in line. With the help of dragons and snakes, he can control the tides, summon or relieve waves and storms, and send or stop the rains.
