The magnificent work of the Dutch painter has found its way into the world of numismatics. This silver, one ounce coin is a perfect gift for every art and painting enthusiast. The image was printed on the coin thanks to the use of UV printing. Selective gilding of the frame and its ornaments emphasizes the beauty of the picture. Café Terrace at Night is a painting by Vincent van Gogh painted in September 1888 during his stay in Arles. In May 1888 he rented a house, named "The Yellow House" after the colour of its façade. He rented a flat above the Café de la Gare for the duration of his furnishing.

The owners of the unpretentious establishment, Joseph and Marie Ginoux, who were open 24 hours a day, treated him generously and soon became his friends, while their café became the subject of two famous paintings by van Gogh: Night Café and Café Terrace at Night.

The painting Café Terrace at Night is one of the most significant works in van Gogh's career - it was the first in which he used the motif of the starry night as a background.
