This coin with an interesting shape was issued to commemorate the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. It was struck from 3 ounces of pure silver. The reverse of the coin shows an image of the inventor. Interestingly, the coin features a movable dial plated in 24-carat gold! The coin is supplied without a capsule, and thanks to a special protective finish, the gold-plated movable insert can be touched with bare hands. Alexander Graham Bell - Scottish scientist, inventor, speech therapist and music teacher by profession. He invented the telephone and dozens of other telecommunications inventions.
