First coin from the new series "Sun Gods", struck by the Mint of Poland. The coin was struck from 2 ounces of pure silver, has a high relief showing details of the design, as well as a stone from the olivine group. It is delivered in a dedicated packaging together with a certificate of authenticity. Tonatiuh in Aztec beliefs was the god of the sun and fallen warriors. According to legends, he created the fifth, current era of the world. It was believed that Tonatiuh, as a personification of the sun, had to be fed with human blood to keep it constantly shining and continue to move in the sky - that is why it was sacrificed by people in places of religious worship.
