Limited mintage of only 100.000 pieces worldwide. The design of the coin was designed by Patrick Niesel. A bumblebee can be seen collecting nectar and pollen. The stone bumblebee is located in the middle of the coin, on a flower. The highlighted motif depicts a bumblebee with its velvety, black body trimmed with fine fur and a bright red rump, one of its most striking features. At the upper left edge of the picture is the inscription "STONE BUMBLEBEE". Below the bumblebee, at the lower right edge, the initials PN of Patrick Niesel are embossed. The obverse shows an eagle, the lettering "FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY", the value number and denomination, the year 2024, the twelve stars of Europe and the mint mark.
