The Vienna Philharmonic has been produced by the Austrian Mint since 2008.Each coin from the silver series is a legal tender, guaranteed by the Austrian government as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal.It is also worth noting that the pattern of Austrian coins, designed by Thomas Pesendorfer, was created using computer graphics and then transferred directly to the coins. The obverseis decorated with the legendary Vienna Philharmonic organ.Additionally, the obverse contains information about the coin's nominal value, weight and year of minting.
