Between 2004 and 2007, the National Bank of Poland issued a series of coins under the name "History of the Polish Zloty", which aimed to present the successive stages in the monetary history of Poland and the functioning of the Zloty. The series was initiated in 2004, as this year marked the eightyth anniversary of the famous currency reform of Wladyslaw Grabski, the launch of Bank Polski SA and the introduction of the zloty into circulation. Four coins were issued in the series:  in 2007: 5 zlotys from 1928. - Nike in 2006: 10 zloty from 1932. in 2005: Sailing ship (2 and 5 zlotys from 1936) in 2004: 1 zloty from 1924. The obverse of the coin presents the image of the eagle established as the national emblem of the Republic of Poland. Next to it there is an image of the obverse of the 5 zloty coin from 1936, and on the right side there is an image of the Sailing Ship "Dar Pomorza". On the reverse there is an image of the reverse of the 10 zloty coin from 1936.  It presents the image of the Sailing Ship against the background of the wind rose.
