The coin Mayan Civilization is the third edition in the Lost Civilizations series.
The obverse of the coin depicts the main street of the Mayan city, Tikal. In the background, pyramid-shaped temples are visible. In the foreground, everyday life of the Mayan civilization is portrayed, showing children, warriors, and other inhabitants engaging in daily activities such as construction and leatherworking.
The reverse side of the coin features a fierce and strong Mayan warrior against the backdrop of a temple. On the left side of the warrior, there is the coat of arms of Palau along with inscriptions: "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" (issuing country), "2023" (year of issue), and "10$" (face value).
The coin is struck from pure silver, weighing 2 ounces, and has a diameter of 45 mm.
The mintage is limited to just 555 pieces worldwide and comes packaged in a beautiful box with a certificate of authenticity.
