Pressburg Mint, a renowned producer of precious metals from Slovakia, has unveiled a new edition of coins from the Icon series.
This time, they feature Vincent van Gogh - the undisputed genius of post-impressionism. His unique style, richness of colors, and profound emotions that permeated each of his works undoubtedly make him an icon of world art.
The obverse depicts the image of King Charles III along with information about the nominal value, weight, purity of the metal, year of minting, and issuing country.
The coins are available in two versions: silver and gold.
The silver coin is made of pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce, and having a diameter of 38.5 mm, in prooflike standard. The mintage of this product is 90,000 pieces.
On the other hand, the gold coin is made of pure gold with a fineness of Au.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce, and having a diameter of 37 mm, in prooflike standard. The mintage of this product is 1,000 pieces.
Furthermore, each coin serves as a legal tender and carries the government guarantee of Tokelau, ensuring the legality, purity of the metal, and metal origin.
